Martin Luther King Makes His,"I Have A Dream" Speech 1963
The,"I Have A Dream" Speech was a very remarkable speech given by Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. that he had said during the civil rights movements on the Lincoln memorial. The day that he said his speech to the civil rights movement is a day that they will never forget. In the civil rights movement people tried to make things fair between white people and African-Americans so that there was no more unfairness. Back then whites and colored people were separated which is now today called,"segregation". White people were mostly Americans or people from Europe and Colored people were the descendants of African slaves and were half African half American. Most white people would not want to go near colored people just because they looked different. As said in the speech, which was made the year 1963, today we judge people not by the way they look, but by their character.

The band had been growing apart and decided to break so they went their separate ways. After that one member of the Beatles was shot by a deranged fan and one died of lung cancer. The Beatles became popular in the U.S. in 1964.
Italy Asks For Help In Stabilizing the Leaning Tower of Pisa 1964
The Leaning Tower of Pisa wasn't always the,"Leaning" Tower of Pisa when it was built in Italy. Research shows that the Tower began to lean because the ground in the area was not very stable and was very soft. The tower had not been built on stable ground and eventually began to lean a little until it leaned into the position it is in right now. In 1964 Italy was troubled by the leaning tower and feared it may fall and thought that it was not safe to have a leaning tower that might eventually fall. Nobody was able to find a solution to this problem. As the years went on the tower looked like it wouldn't budge. The people soon declared it safe but that it would still lean which is also how it became known now as the,"Leaning Tower of Pisa".

New York City Great Blackout 1965
The Great New York City Blackout was actually part of the Northeast Blackout of 1965. The great Northeast Blackout was an accident because when maintenance personnel set a protective relay on one of the transmission lines between Niagra Generating Station Sir Adam Beck Station No. 2 in Queenston, Ontario. The safety relay, which was to trip if the current exceeded the capacity of the transmission line was set too low. All because of that accident it caused almost the Northeast side of the U.S. and the Southeast side of Canada to be left in the dark. They had to be left without light and electricity for up to 13 hours. This blackout was very big but not so long. because other blackouts were small but lasted days and maybe even weeks.
