The Start of the Korean War 1950-1953
The Korean War started because South Korea (a.k.a. The Republic of Korea) and North Korea (a.k.a. Democratic People's Republic of Korea) had different ways of ruling Korea. North Korea Established a communist government which made the South Korean government angry because they never shared any of their ideas for the new Korea. South Korea established a right-wing government which also made the North Korean government angry for the same reason the South did. There was so much argument and fighting that soon the out rage burst into war which is now today called the Korean War. Eventually the war ended with the North signing an armistice but the South did not sign and so Korea was still split up into North and South Korea. The war began June 25, 1950 and ended with the signing of the armistice July 27, 1953 with the North still communists and the South non-communists.

Later, business was bombing and just about the whole U.S. had a color TV. Now today everyone can experience a better way to watch TV.

DNA (a.k.a. Deoxyribonucleic Acid) Is Discovered 1953
Have you ever wondered what DNA is and why during science class while talking about genetics it is mentioned? Inside cells, the building blocks of all living things, is the DNA of each animal or plant. On 1953 two scientists can finally look at DNA and make an accurate model of it. DNA is the secret code inside each animal or plant that makes it unique. At a crime scene detectives always look for evidence or anything that can hold DNA like spit, fingernails, hair, and fingerprints. When they are sent to labs to be tested on in the end, because of the DNA in the evidence, scientists can find who committed the the crime. Even after DNA leaves your body it can still be used to find out whose it is from. Unless you have a clone, no one else in the world maybe not even anyone else in the universe has your DNA. That is how important and unique you really are, because of your DNA.

They reached the top of the world on May 1953 and only enjoyed their greatest moment ever for only 15 minutes because of the low oxygen on their tanks. Many people died on the way to the of the mountain. The risk of dying was high because you could get hypothermia, not being able to breathe, fall off the mountain, and bad weather. Only the bravest, most determined, and tough people could make it to the top. This mountain is a challenge for all who try to climb it, get to its highest peak, get back down, and most importantly, survive.
Britain Sponsors An Expedition To Find the Abominable Snowman 1954
Some people in the world believe that Cryptids are real and they believe in them. Some are Bigfoot, "Nessie" the Lochness Monster, and the Jersey Devil. The Yeti (which is similar to Bigfoot and is also called the Abominable Snowman) is mostly found in the Himalayas region and some people like the British hoped to find him. The year of 1954 Britain sponsored a search to find the Yeti. The question is what would they do when they found the infamous Yeti, because most likely it would attack and they would not be ready. The British should've counted themselves lucky because an encounter with the yeti is one you would never forget.
Segregation Ruled Illegal In U.S. 1954
During 1954 segregation was ruled illegal .Earlier on colored people and white people would still be separated but equal. It did not sound that way to the African-Americans because they were still treated unfairly because they were always told whites should be first or they should have better stuff. Later segregation was officially over and whites and colored people could finally live among each other in peace. One of the heroes during that time Martin Luther King. He played a big role during segregation and everyone even today still remember him. The cruelty still did not end 1954.
Rosa Parks Refuses To Give Up Her Seat On the Bus 1955
In 1955 the law still technically meant that segregation was still legal. Rosa Parks' town was still okay with segregation and so when got into a boycott bus in 1955, she refused to give up her seat for a white man who just got on the bus. Rules were still unfair back then. Rosa Parks went to jail for the crime she committed. That wouldn't be considered a crime today, it would be considered silly. The man could have just gone to the back and not have caused any trouble for Rosa Parks, but the man was arrogant, wanted to follow the law, and wanted his way so he told the bus driver. Rosa Parks refused to take another seat because she was tired of the way the whites treated her and the rest of the colored people. She gave hope to other colored people. To think it was all because of not taking anther bus seat.
